First off, I'm almost 100% positive this has to have been discussed on here numerous times, but I haven't searched for it. Sorry if I'm adding the 1 millionth post about the same issue... So, I've never used an EA Cash Card previously. Today was my first time to add one to my account. I was ...
So, I've never used an EA Cash Card previously. Today was my first time to add one to my account. I was going to buy the new Dragon Age game ($59.99 USD), and while I was out today, I saw a $60 EA Cash Card, so I purchased it so I could use it for Dragon Age.It seems like a blatant cash grab to sell $60 cards that can't be used in conjunction with other payment options, knowing that the standard price for new, AAA games is $59.99. If it's not just an underhanded way of draining customers' pockets as much as possible, I'm really having a hard time understanding exactly why I can't apply the EA card, and pay the remainig $2 with PayPal (or ANYTHING else).I know this is a long comment (or a short term paper), but I felt like I needed to put this out there to inform people like me, who don't know the unreasonable limitations pertaining to the EA Cash Cards. I guess it's also a plea for change regarding this issue.I literally can't think of anywhere else I've ever run into an issue like this. It's just bad business, and a disservice to customers who want to buy EA games, and want to believe that all of the people out there that always claim that EA is greedy are crazy people.
